DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURES

The most important diagnostic procedure in neurology is a comprehensive neurological examination. At Affiliated Neurology Center, it is performed by a Board Certified Neurologist - Eleonora Spokoyny, M.D.

In addition to being an Active Member of  the American  Academy of Neurology, Dr. Eleonora Spokoyny is also a Fellow of the American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine (AANEM). She personally performs and/or oversees the performance of the following tests in our office:

·        Electroencephalography (EEG)

·        Electromyography (EMG)

·        Nerve Conduction Velocity (NCV)

·        Evoked Potentials (VEP, SSEP, BSEP)

 
TREATMENT TECHNIQUE 

After the diagnostic phase is completed and a diagnosis is established, it is of utmost importance to develop a treatment plan specifically tailored for each patient's need.  This plan may include:

·        Optimal selection of medications

·        Nerve blocks
